Edmonton Frag a lot group order
 

I've been thinking of doing an order from Burc, so I wanted to see if I could get enough people on for a group order.

So is anyone interested ?? I'm thinking the order cut off will be around 5 people.

Depending on when the cut off is, I'm in (I get paid on the 18th, so hopefully after that? I can still do before that too). Let me know. Thanks

Yeah, that's really far for me since I'm in Bon Accord.

If this is not going ahead I would appreciate knowing as Burc is holding stuff for me for this order.

Last time we did this, nothing I bought survived.

The last time I got some stuff it all survived (except the 1 sps, but that's my tank, not Burc), I got mostly acans and zoas, and they're all doing great. When did you last order?

I've had good luck with my orders. I've lost one or two but Burc was awesome and replaced the doa.

I've had one or 2 doa as well but he always either credits me more then what I paid or sends larger frags next time. It's all about how you talk to him

He sent me replacements. That we're dead as well.

ya sps tend not to ship well.... as for FWC.. he's like 16... probably out with friends.

Anyway ,extend to the order to wednesday(20th). We still haven't hit the 300 mark yet.

He's credited me as well as replaced with better frags for me. All zoas. I talked to flash in the past about the orders and if she were to do another in the future it would not include sps as it does not ship well at all.

gotta disagree with that, unless you are speaking specifically of this vendor

I dont know I have brought frags home from LFS before (SPS) only 2 hours in the bag tops, got them home, bleached, I think it depends on shipping

i would estimate less than 5% losses during shipping of SPS frags assuming next day delivery, greg (coralmaster) would agree with this I suspect.

freshly chopped frags off recently imported colonies are risk to ship and in some cases even to buy from the store

i've had loss from 3 different vendors i've had shipped and even frags I have personally driven home (12 hours) some just don't do well... some do.. it depends on conditions as well!

yup I wouldn't put the blame on the vendor all the time, you don't know whats going on when its being shipped. plain and simple.

plus I've seen the way my fedex guy handles my boxes....lol!

Also every SPS frag I've gotten from Burc has been fully fleshed and showed polyp exension within days of being in my tank :)

50% losses for me. IMHO best to buy local so you see what you get.

Due to lack of communication (on FWC's part) I am officially out of this order. I apologize to the other members who were in on it.

Sorry guys ,I've been sending out PMs and e-mails like crazy ,I've just been a bit overloaded with exams and haven't been on the computer that much.

Sucks that the order had to dwindle so much :sad:
