Reward

I'm posting a reward for one small Percula Clown. Red/White with black outlines. Approx. 3/4-1" long. Was placed in tank Wedesday March 24 at 8:30pm. By 6:30am Thursday morning, he/whe was missing. All rock/caves were checked, overflows were checked, no where to be found. His tankmate is still there and has been questioned but no foul play has been ruled as of yet. Anyone know where it may be? Could a crab get it? There was a bunch of bigger tracks in the sand and ended in the middle of a open spot. Please post a message here if you have any information on this matter

Did you check the drain pipes inside the overflows? You could also consider testing for an ammonia/nitrite/nitrate spike in case he is dead somewhere in your tank.

Check behind the tank. Could be a jumper.

Found him. He managed to et down on of my drains. Found him in the carbon pad in the sump. Didn't make it though  Guess my question is, I have another clown that I added at the same time. Can I get a 1 new clown? Or will that upset the existing one now?

Had lost a clown (1 of 2), just replaced with one that was smaller than the remaining without problems.

Marks advice is right, if two fish of the same species doesn't make it then always try to replace the lost fish with a smaller one

So what are people using to keep fish or snails going down their drain pipes?

EmilyB 03-26-2004 04:34 AM

How would they get thru the overflow ?

ruck'n'reefer 03-26-2004 05:00 AM

I use gutter guard inside the over flow. You can get it at HD (homedepot).

trilinearmipmap, If fish and snails are going down your drain pipe, does it get worse when it rains?

 Best show ever made in Canada! I've seen lots of people using Ricky and Julian, but no one seems to use Bubbles  And I didn't want to use Mr Lahey or Randy....
