What Other Hobbies do you have?

Keep It clean please as I know where some of you will go.... DOUG lol!... but I am just currious!

Before I got into saltwater, I was majorly into reptiles. I had about 20 snakes corns and ball pythons, a few different geckos, an asian water dragon and a few chameleons... but through the past 8 years I am down to my Gecko collection. I have a few different types of rhacodactylus geckos (cresteds, chahoua and a crested/sarasinorum hybryd) I have fallen inlove with these little guys have have decided to try and breed a couple. If you don't know about these geckos, you should google them! they are awesome, fast and stick to almost anything!

besides my reptiles, I play hockey, ice and ball at competitive levels which virtually allows me no down time!

what do the rest of you do?

BMahura 05-02-2012 05:10 PM

I snowmobile every chance I get during the winter months and during the other months I'm busy coaching football. Other then those photography and saltwater fish are my other hobbies

You'd probably get away with it anyway. Practice has the dogs in crates unless they're running, and when they're running, they don't think much about anything else. My boy and another dog on the team hate each other, but when running, they ignore each other almost completely.

Aquattro 05-02-2012 05:14 PM

I could connect you with a good team in Edmonton as well, they'd help you manage the issue.

SeaHorse_Fanatic 05-02-2012 05:16 PM

From late April to October, I tend to spend a lot of my free time in the backyard. Grow lots of fresh veggies, fruits, berries, and herbs for my family. Never was into gardening until Felicia was born. She loves to go into the back and help her Dad and she loves her fresh produce so that's my "warm" weather hobby. This spring, when it finally stops raining, I'll be building a big greenhouse (12' x 8' x 10' tall).

Aquattro 05-02-2012 05:32 PM

Anthony, won't that cut into your deck area??

jorjef 05-02-2012 05:39 PM

reefgirl189 05-02-2012 06:49 PM

I'm into my redbone hounds. I have two, one in the states doing competitive showing ATM. He's a multi champion. Getting another pup this summer hopefully. I like going hunting with the bf but we usually can't because of childcare.

I also used to be very into reptiles, I had about 45 ball pythons and cornsnakes at one point. I sold them all shortly after my son was born and we moved. I even bred them and got an Albino het pied once (to anyone who understands ball pythons and genetics).

I also do wine making a few times a year and this spring I'm planting a garden (second time ever). Other that that I really like decorating and renovating. I'm thinking of buying and flipping a few houses in the next few years for fun.

It always seems to me like I never have enough time for all my hobbies.

PoonTang 05-02-2012 09:39 PM

I got a 06 600RR that has lot of add ons but I don't really like using that for track. My buddy has a track R6 that I borrow every time I am out there. He is in the advanced group, and I am only an intermediate.

Flash 05-02-2012 10:23 PM

my bro rides his custom 954 on the street and a 929 on the track! that guy is fearless I tell ya, but we're a racing family so I can understand it. I grew up in motorcross, dad ran 1/4 mile top fule drag bikes at mission! and intermeddiate is better then novice! i love going to the races days here and watching guys in brand new gear with brand new bikes cat walk off the line into to gravel/wood fence! I go for the crashes! working Corner 8 is my fav... all the good crashes happen in 2,6 and 8! lol!
