Favorite and least favorite chores?
 

Concerning your general aquarium maintenace:

What is your least favorite maintenance task?

And the one you like to do the most?

I'll go first:

I hate mixing up the dosing recipes. It's messy and I haven't found a very efficient way of doing it yet. I also suck at dosing in general and I'm having a hard time finding the right levels for my tank.

My favorite would probably be cleaning the skimmer. I know you're all thinking I'm crazy right now, but it is! I can see the results of my hard work right after it's done and the smell doesn't really bother me after changing diapers for two years.

my favorite reef related duty is probably feeding the fish...they are always happy to see me:mrgreen:

my least favorite would have to be cleaning the sump out....I hate it so much I havnt done it since this version of the tank was set up almost two years ago:redface:

Favorite-feeding fish
Least favorite - anything with water, topping up ato or water changes. Water is in the basement, so lugging 5 gl jugs up, 2 a day, water changes, at least 5 trips.

Love - buying coral/fish
Hate - fitting coral in the tank/removing fish

Water changes ATM but I'm sure it'll be cleaning the sump

Favorite part is when company comes over & stands infront of the tank for an hour without saying a word.

Least favorite is not having a big enough tank :twised:

Least favorite is testing the water.

Most favorite is feeding the fish

Most favorite - Feeding the fish.
Least favorite - Cleaning coralline algae off acrylic tank wall

neg - cleaning filter socks (considering layering disposable filter floss in my socks. Socks as backup but floss to be tossed every couple days)

Favourite: feeding the fish

Least: water testing: hate it so much I rarely do it anymore, but feel guilty
about not doing it.

I thought this was Canreef.com? Why so many Canadians misspelling favourite?

Favourite: feeding the carnivorous corals.
Least: water changes.

That's the way I've always spelled it. Favorite. Iphone has never autocorrected it so it must be right!

Best.... Buying new corals

Worst.. Deciding what gets sent to the minors to make room for it.

I would have to say my favourite is just sitting infront of the tank, my hated is being away at work all week so I can't sit infront of the tank.
