LF Fish? Let us know what you've been wanting

Is there a certain fish that you've been looking for but never see it available? Let us know what you're looking and we can look into ordering it for you.

AI does frequent fish orders and we would like some input on the types of fish you would like to see available. Please share with us your "must have" fish list or the types of fish you have always wanted but don't often see.

if a person orders a fish, are they committing to buying it?

like what if it arrives dead or in poor shape?

and will you know the price beforehand? (i know theres stores that have no idea what the price of a fish is until they receive it and get billed)

The AI website shows that you guys have a Radiant Wrasse.
How much, how big, how much is shipping to Vancouver?

Also, could you snap a pic of it?

I'd also be interested in a Hawaiian Supermale Flame Wrasse.

Thanks!

If the fish is extremely rare and expensive then you would be committed to buy it, but generally speaking no. You can change your mind about the fish especially if it's sick or in poor condition or not the right size etc.

Unfortunately we will not know the exact price until the supplier tells us the shipping costs.

There was one in quarantine and it is about 2" (lucky it's still there, it almost made its way home with me )but I don't remember how much. I'm sure Laurie will check it out for you tomorrow but Ron deals with all the shipping info.

the 2 that are in quarantine right now are yellow belly regals. PM'ing with price.

Hey kaboom,
Just checked with 3 different suppliers and the only ones from your list that I can get right now are the Rainford's Butterflies, and they're on the not likely to survive in a tank list (along with the pelewensis), so not one we really want to bring in. Check out Bob Fenners article for more info http://www.wetwebmedia.com/poorchaetodons.htm
Not much available out of the Red Sea right now. I'll keep checking though.

Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse

I put in a request (on the phone) a few weeks ago and am still waiting. Any word yet? Thanks.

Aaron2 04-25-2012 01:09 AM

We've got two shipments booked for this week, so hopefully we'll get the carpenters

Aaron2 04-27-2012 12:16 AM

Hey Sunee,
Your carpenter's wrasse is in acclimation right now.
