Well I have fought it for long enough, I admit I am not a fan of facebook, twitter, apps, droids (whatever they are)

But I confess my deepest sorrow that I am now on facebook - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

It even comes with an address book and pen to write your friends phone numbers down in. so cool, no need to worry if your phone gets stolen they just have your phone not your life!!

My wife bought an Iphone this morning, she was initially threatened with being banned from the house until she pointed out some important reasons why i should let her back in.

While in the store the guy was showing her all these features, and I asked

"can you make a phone call"

His face was blank!!!

why does it have buttons? I didnt think the made phones with buttons anymore ;)

I love the white look, the Johns phone looks very futuristic, maybe white will catch on with other phones?

And once upon a time we all used to go out for walks in the country with our families, then along came Apple and Facebook so now we can look at pictures of the countryside from the comfort of our own arm chairs

Aqua-Digital, I'm with you on this one. I have a FB acct. but on it minimally.

I may have a smartphone nowadays, but its almost strictly for work or for research. My brother and sister started getting addicted to various games like drawing on the touch screen (like Pictionary) or a Scrabble-based word game and now they have to charge their phones twice a day. I'm OCD so I don't allow myself to get sucked into new addictions like that. Besides, too busy with work and two little kids & a bunch of fish tanks.

I'm very old school. My idea of a good time is to take Felicia (my 3+ years old) and drive out into the country and stop whenever we see horses she can feed from the roadside. Her idea of a great day is any time its warm and sunny enough for dad to take her out to one of the local playgrounds. Unfortunately, I can already see how with all the new techno toys, there are very few kids playing in the parks any more compared to when we were all kids. Sad really.

we are a rare breed my friend, keep hold of those traditions. You never know it may catch on ;)

But then I am sure some muppet will come along and create an APP for that! :twised:
