Anyone Using Hotmail?
 

I have been using it for non personal Email, for years, suddenly today, it seems like my junk mail filter is turned off, as all the email that would normally go to the junk folder is going in my inbox, needless to say, its a PITA, cause it used up about 35% of my monthly data on my phone before I noticed....:lol: (FUDGE!)

Anyone else having this problem? I keep marking junk as junk but it keeps coming back to my inbox...:neutral:

I use hotmail and all seems fine.

Nope mine is fine. My account was hacked a few days ago, but that's been cleared up. Your's probably was hacked and instead of sending out spam, they changed your settings and spam you. Send a message to Hotmail & they'll work to change your password and set your acct. right.

password changed history, and cache cleared.. Emailed hotmail a few times no response on the issue.. might just use my google acct.

jack up the security to exclusive and put those you want on the "safe" list. Thats what I had to do to mine. I go through the junk filter daily to check to make sure I haven't missed anyone. Works great.

I have done this still not working, I fear my account is compromised. after 10 years and a millions passwords.. I may just go to google email, I email hotmail, about 12 times with no response, called their tech support, and they could barely speak english.. sorry I'm frustrated at this point ;)
Frick, lol. I dont get how the call it tech support when they couldnt help my issue. I have not ever had this problem, its as if some one, is putting the emails I am marking as junk back into my inbox, cause I just put 2 into the junk folder, came back to my inbox and they were out of my junk folder and back in the inbox... UGGHHHHH....:twised::twised::twised::twised::twise d:

get a gmail account. they don't suck :biggrin:

ok so "F" hotmail. I have gmail now, but is there a way to set my canreef emails so they dont go in my inbox (with out setting them as spam) cause i read them sometimes, but i dont want to see 200 emails in my inbox everyday lol

yeah, just create a rule that anything from @canreef.com goes to a certain folder

Mine was hacked on the 4th of april. Apparently it's becoming more common, hacking them to send out spam.

Apparently all they need to do is run a script that constantly tries passwords. After a number of wrong ones, it will present you with a captcha code which once entered will let them continue trying passwords.
Why they don't have some of 15 or 30 minute lockout after filling out the captch box 2 or 3 times is beyond me.

yeah its kinda gay cause I had to transfer all my contacts, personal emails etc.. ugh the future is not friendly. ;)
