How many times can you actually say you have seen clownfish hatch out?

Image clarity is not 100%, but we are working on better mthods.

MarkoD 04-16-2012 11:29 PM

I only watch porn in 1080p *snobby voice*

BlueWorldAquatic 04-16-2012 11:32 PM

Too bad for you then

Thought I would try this experiment as I have never seen it myself, as they hatch out ony in the dark.

Plus testing out some new security camera equipment, so why not killl 2 birds with 1 stone?

BlueWorldAquatic 04-17-2012 02:11 AM

refresh it a few times.

the software is a bit slow, will have it better next time live show.

Maybe actually show the spawning process too

The Grizz 04-17-2012 02:16 AM

I have had it on my computer through out the night and have seen most of all the little black dots dissappear and can see other little black dots floating around

BlueWorldAquatic 04-17-2012 02:33 AM

will have it coser for the next spawn.

just something I thought I would try.

MarkoD 04-17-2012 02:34 AM

cant really see anything.

doesnt seem like it would be a good security system either

Coasting 04-17-2012 02:39 AM

Maybe it only works for you folks in Alberta :( Nothing here.

Nano 04-17-2012 02:43 AM

if its a security camera they are used for a longer wider deep view versus a close up shot of very small subjects.

Way more then a few, the top side of the tube was really covered with eggs.

BlueWorldAquatic 04-17-2012 02:45 AM

its using the infrared right now, as clowns only hatch in darkenss

much clearer in wode and regular lighting

BlueWorldAquatic 04-17-2012 03:55 AM

will set up again when the hatchery is set up

Snaz 04-17-2012 05:10 AM

I tuned in...nifty..thank you. Do you bother with rearing or do they become rich supplemental live food for the tank?

BlueWorldAquatic 04-17-2012 05:14 AM

The tank is rich in rotifers, after day 4 they are big enough for BBS, the first 4 days are the hardest.

You have to keep the water quality as good as possible, but is difficult with all the rotifers in the water.

Ammonia is the worst
