Flash's 25gl work tank!
 

So i got the go ahead to start up a tank at work and since i already have a 10gl fresh water tank... i had to keep it small... one of my co-workers actually had a tank and he brought it to me... my boss brought me some sand from his tank.... so here starts the journal of "THE TOOL CRIB TANK" lol

going to be a long work in progress. too the stand apart, stripped the inside as it was all rotten, sanded it down and re-sealed it. put the stand back together, put a new hinge on the lid... got the sand into the tank... water will come later today! no lights or rock for this tank yet... that will be a week or two until i can find something cheap!!

Tool crib?

If in a shop type tool crib make sure the top seals well.

my crib is clean! don't worry!!

I used to work in a tool crib up in Fort Mcmurray and I loved it!

I never had a reef tank in mine though of course.

At least in there you should have all the tools you need for the build.

the only thing I need is a hob filter and rock and I am good to go!!

I have some live rock, enough for that tank for sure.

i have a 10gl freah water tank with some tetra's a guppy a molly some frogs and a snail! lol!

I have a small powerhead and a heater I will be adding with the water this afternoon!! then it's trying to find lights I can screw to the top of the lid!

I still have the AC you can have

I NEED THAT!!! that will be perfect for work tank!!!! or the 30gl tank I am holding 2 tangs in!

You know what.. I might just ask if I can do a pico tank! I already think I know the answer! :lol:

I think you need some big tangs like sailfins etc. atleast 8 in a tank that size would be ok............ :wink:

well after a good go, I walked into work to find my tank had JUST blown a seal on the bottom... thank goodness I got here when I did... fish are now in a bucket.... anyone have a 30" tank?! lol! what a day... what a day.... ugh
