HAMMER MEDLEY

Lots of pix need to be taken and it will likely be a slow process but in the mean time I'll start off with a little hammer-medley shot.

It was pretty much a FOWLR for about a year.

Love the hammers.. So the different colors can touch?
I was just looking tonight at the orange hammer I got from you a couple of months ago.. It's HUGE!

Yes in my experience they can grow together peacefully. The only issue is when a bigger one overgrows and shades a smaller one which will then stunt the growth on that side of the coral which can cause it to recede a bit on that side but other than that they all get along fine.

Sweet pictures of some awesome corals!! ... I don't know how you'd get anything done when at home, in my case my nose would be pressed up against the glass every chance.

PS. Sorry about the nose prints on the glass from when I was over a few days ago. :p

FTS

Definately needs some time to grow out as it is looking rather "fraggy" & "fruit standish" but should be a good growth sequence shot for later.

I'd be in for frags of these 2 anytime they're ready, Greg!

I think I might have left a fingerprint or two beside your nose prints.

Glass cleaning party at Snappy's? Let me find my wallet first. :D

Thanks Wayne. I am hoping this latest version of my display will make my old one pale in comparison within in a year or so. That said it will be a daunting task because the old tank was full of corals I had collected over many years but I think this one has the potential to be even nicer. That said beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has different tastes so what I think is better not be in others opinions.

I just got them in Wed night & have been moving them arouind. The picture was taken under T5's in one of my frag tanks. Bulbs are a 50/50 mix of 12K & Blue plus so I would guess it would even out at around 16K if there is such a thing.

Thanks Wayne. What happened to your frag? You bought that last year some time right? Unfortunately I lost my colony as well and and on the hunt for a new one.

I think the move to the new tank and new home almost six mths ago was too much. Sorry to hear that yours is gone. The sarmentosa is definitely one of my Fav! I should check with Len as he bought one too... I'll let you know... Other frags are Slowly growing but the colours are great!
