Thankfully. No major injury as of yet. And not my fault

Foxface 04-05-2012 03:42 PM

Ouch!!! Glad everyone is ok.

Delphinus 04-05-2012 03:43 PM

Egads, RIP, nice truck.

Glad to hear there are no major injuries. I've seen some nasty ones in my time with far less damage than this. This brings back memories of my own highway head-on collision (not my fault, no fatalities although the EMS on scene who was a witness to the crash told me he couldn't believe I just walked out of my car like that.) It did do a number to my neck though, it was over 10 years ago now and my neck still has issues from that crash. So do get yourself checked over, my guess is you'll likely have some stiffness and soreness in your neck and shoulders, do get it checked out.

Yikes! Glad to hear you're okay. Mind me asking where this happened? I'm jumping on the road at 3pm to go from Lloydminster to Cgy, and I've heard the highways are bad today. I had a few meetings cancelled as people didn't want to drive from Edmonton to Lloydminster due to road conditions so I can only imagine they are "poor".

Proteus 04-05-2012 03:55 PM

This happened ten minutes south of Edmonton. My brother was driving my truck and I was in my rig two minutes behind him. When I got on scene he was walking around in shock. More upset about my truck than being hurt. I called 911 and when the ambulance came they put him on spine board. Due to his head bouncing off the steering wheel. I guess the other truck crossed center line. All in all it's just a truck

could be worse...some people dont even need snow. seen this yesterday in tuscany lol

first thing in the morning too lol what a way to wake up. the lady driving was on her cell and blew right through a stop sign into another car and into the house.

glad your ok buddy, it took my roomate 2 hrs to drive to olds from cal he had to turn around as traffic was at a stand still

Proteus 04-05-2012 04:34 PM

I don't feel bad for people when there to distracted buy a phone. Bet insurance won't cover that being distracted driver and all

So this storm is province wide. Wow. Just not worth the risk

toxic111 04-05-2012 04:43 PM

nope, not province wide.. mix of sun & cloud here.. some wind is all, & well above freezing..

parkinsn 04-05-2012 04:43 PM

MarkoD 04-05-2012 07:22 PM

HOLY **** NICK...... glad you're okay....

blacknife 04-05-2012 07:58 PM

This morning leduc to fort Saskatchewan was bad. Yellowhead east of Sherwood park looks good now though.

Proteus 04-05-2012 08:02 PM

I must say insurance is moving fast. They already hold posession of the truck. No investigation from police.

waynemah 04-05-2012 11:42 PM

That is a crazy amount of damage! It's good everyone is okay.

BlueWorldAquatic 04-05-2012 11:49 PM
