Haha this is taken at the last light before bed on the natural cycle. If I turned it up to over 10% it might have turned out better. |

For the record you all still fail, my LED light is more powerful, perfect spread and has 7 channels. That's why I figure if you're not going to have the best you might as well get the cheaper option, otherwise you just paid more to loose

Coming to a reef site near you....From Ecotech the latest update for your Radion system ..... "1000 and one thoughts for self affirmation" Stop worrying about what others think, what they are saying. Just click on the "I am great" tab and sooth away the fears, ease the stress. Just read one of the thousand reasons to still like yourself and one day you will be able to not feel the need to excessively argue, give reasons why and make constant "we are better" rants to justify your purchase.

If you could add lenses to the radion I'm sure u might get that 6 foot spread.
|
That's a very expensive flashlight!

Levi, by chance do you have a par meter to take some par reading? I am curious on real life read outs. I am getting a par meter in a couple of days and will post my findings on my build thread. |

Hasn't it been determined that par readings from LEDs are not related to their ability to grow corals?

thats gutsy.....laptop on the tank like that:eek:
|
Lol your camera adjusts the exposure depending on how much light there is. That's why they all look the same

Ecotech needs to be mac compatible. I'd take mac compatibility over red and green lights any day. |
Here's another at 100%. It looks pretty bright when the camera isn't focused on the tank in this shot:
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...9/IMG_4030.jpg Please excuse the mess under the tank...(I don't mean my child obviously :) ) |

patience grasshopper.....they say its coming:wink: |
Too bad radions don't have Bluetooth to wirelessly connect to a computer or smartphone for control. They figured wireless connectivity with pumps was more important
