Vancouver Meeting
 

It is time for a Vancouver Reef Meeting. Calgary had theirs and I think it is time to have one ourselves..I will offer my house as a meeting place..(if you dont mind critiqueing my humble tank) which is downtown or....anyone else?? Lets figure something out.....

That is a good idea. Wendell, lets see if we can go to the aquarium first then to my house (just minutes away)..I am thinking end of March, beginning of april.

I'm interested as well. I also have discount coupons to the aquarium if anyone needs them.

I'm definitely in, especially since I missed the last meeting! If we get advance notice then I'll be able to schedule myself better.

By the same token if anyone out there are skiers, we could have a ski day followed by a meeting at my place here in Whistler! :biggrin:

Sure I can make it, this would be my first. Any rituals I should be aware of... is there a vancouver reefer secret handshake? How about a ring... why should the mason's have all the fun.

Yes, there is a ritual. Our meet will be on April 1 and all of the newbies have to bring a frag for each of the old timers. That's the way its been for the past 3 years.

This newbie has started off with FOWLR, so... how about a chunk of live rock? :biggrin:

The saturday would actually work best, so lets plan on April 3rd. Lets get some more intrest here too. I would love some critique on my tank so lets have a BIG ONE. Any suggestions on what and how to do it would be appreciated as it is my first..I'm a virgin reef partyer. :redface:

I would like to come. it will be my first so I will bring a few chunks of my live rock too. If there will be a frag swap I might have some GSP, a torch that I dont think I want, and maybe a ricordia.

So we narrowed down the when, Sat. April 3. Any idea for time? Is it at Joel's place or Aquarium first? Cant wait to tap into all the reef brains out there.

I think it is best to hold off a little longer till I set a date. I would love to have everyone come. If there is more intrest then I will be more than happy to have a get together. C'mon VANCOUVER!
