WTB: Heat pads
Anyone know where to buy heat pads locally or does anyone have spare ones lying around they are not using? Does JL sell them as they are not on their website.
|
You can buy electric heating pads at Walmart.
|
Ah crap, i should have been more detailed. I need heat pads for shipping.

They sell extension cords too.
|
Sorry, just messing with you :) J&L used to sell them. If they don't (call them, they have a phone:)), you can find them at most sporting good stores that sell winter equipment . They're designed to go in your mitts as hand warmers.

I saw some at London Drugs, Canadian tire, and Walmart.
Silly Brad, they don't come with cords.. They are battery operated. |

Best place to buy these for super cheap is Princess Auto. I just bought 5 Large ones for $.77 each and 5 hand warmer ones for $.49 each.
Normally then are about $.30 higher than that each. |
Canadian tire, MEC or the like.
You're looking for "hand warmers." |
Thanks guys, seems to be cheaper than buying the extension cords needed to cross the province.
|
You need the longer 30 or 40hr ones though that all those places listed dont sell. Those are going to be 4 or 8hrs....I wouldnt risk it with those.
|
Ocean Aquatics sells heat pads. I bought some last time I was there. These heat pads are good for up to 30 hours.

The princess Auto ones say 20+ hours on them. I've used them to ship and even to keep my dog warm in his bed in the cooler months when we're camping.
|
Don't be so lazy! There's a Princess Auto in Coquitlam just off of HWY #1 near Brunette. Haha!
And there's a MEC on Broadway between Main and Cambie too! Quote:

Last year www.buyregent.com in Edmonton sold 40 hour Uniheat for $.94 each which was great but I see that they are no longer listed on their website. So you could try contacting www.uniheatproducts.com directly for a list of local distributers. But I'd probably just go with the ones at J&L or Princess Auto. Ocean Aquatics lists them for $3.50 on their site and I wouldn't pay that.
|
Thanks guys, bought some at JL, they were 4 for $5.
