Are you guys willing to ship to Vancouver?
What is pricing going to be for the Maxima's?

tim the toolman 02-23-2012 12:00 AM

Pricing?

paddyob 02-23-2012 12:45 AM

What about the rics?

BlueWorldAquatic 02-23-2012 01:26 AM

Things are settling down for me finally, I have contacted my Florida Ric supplier, and will get that going shortly.

We (BWA & The Reef Shoppe) have been negotiating to get this order for a long time and have have these clams put aside for a little time now.

We will try to sell them WYSWYG as much as possible once we get them in our stores, and arrange shipping to those out of town.

Pricing will listed as soon as I get a chance to work out all expenses (Shipping, USFW, CITES, etc..), and will also offer quantity discounts.

Proteus 02-23-2012 01:34 AM

Ken

Your hitting all the right notes.

Mike-fish 02-23-2012 02:21 AM

Could someone clue me in on what "WYSWYG" means

wayner 02-23-2012 02:24 AM

What you see is what you get

SteveConn 02-23-2012 02:41 AM

Very nice. I'm interested

BlueWorldAquatic 02-23-2012 03:14 AM

As we have said, we have CITES up to 75 clams, 18 derasa, and 57 maxima.

Most are pictured above, no guarentees on actual clams until we get them in our grubby little hands.

We want to maximize the usage of this CITES so we will take pre-orders as soon as we work out pricing. Should be by tomorrow.

TRS 02-23-2012 03:20 AM

This will be a sweet order. Here are couple of other pictures of the Tridacna maxima Clams:

You know how long I have been trying to get these in, I think as far back as FF2

whatcaneyedo 02-23-2012 05:27 PM

Subscribed. I've been after a Derasa for months.

Delphinus 02-23-2012 05:32 PM

I am in actual physical discomfort looking at the pictures. To be honest you had me at "Cook Islands".

One time I wish I was in Edmonton .. hahahaha.

Jaws 02-23-2012 05:36 PM

Let me know if anyone from the island, mainly Victoria, gets in on this. Might want to jump aboard. Thanks.

rhody605 02-23-2012 06:03 PM

Is there any way to get on a list to be in on a primo clam?

MMAX 02-26-2012 01:34 PM

Interested but a bit uneasy on the small size of them.

wow... time to sell off some limbs ! :D

BlueWorldAquatic 02-29-2012 01:30 PM

Actually they will be under $150.

We have postponed the clam order for 1 week due to the varying temperatures.

The less we lose as DOA's (If any), the less you pay.

BTW our current stock of clams have been dropped 20% more from our already low prices.
