OUCH: wife's Rogers blackberry
Wife handed me her blackberry bold and asked what is this. She got 4 texts at the same time from Rogers. First stating her bandwidth is used up, second stating a $50 overage charge, then $100, then $500
I almost fell over. Just got off the phone with them twice. Called a second time just to validate the first answer. If anyone on Rogers with blackberry got the text, it was an upgrade issue. No worries as they said, and it only affected blackberries. |
What's a Blackberry?

Lol Kien you can buy them at Safeway.

It was just securely encrypted through BBM so nobody but the bb users knew. |

Wow, this thread is most definitely off topic, thanks!!! Where are the mods when needed.
Please lock thread! As it was for informative purposes only, and to see if others had this issue. Now the thread is a complete joke, and serves no purpose. THANKS!!! Even better, mods, just delete/remove! |

FYI, Again I will repost: Anyone with a BB on Rogers, they did an upgrade, that caused unreasonable data charges to actually be placed on your bill (in my wifes case over 108 gigs). Now in saying this, they do know of this and can give a support ticket number and mark your account, just in case they miss you and you end up with a crazy cell bill. Do not worry, but protect yourself and call Rogers to verify that this won't happen to you. |
