Little bugger felt me comin' and started to close up, so I held still and waited.
Duuu dum ... duuu dum ... dun dun dun dun and I BLASTED it.
Boy did it retract fast. I can't get tweezers in the hole otherwise I'd break off the piece of rock it's hiding in.
Hopefully I did it right :mrgreen:

Take no chances and smother with epoxy. It only takes one... although you likely have others and they are hidden or too small to see I'm sorry to say. Love those things :twised:

Once a month I do the witch hunt with boiling water and Kalk. Makes short work of them. In fact, I know what I'm doing this weekend!

Good advice I wish I could follow Brett. I have 9" angled pruning scissors that barely reach in the hole, so epoxy is out of the equation.
So I just had a look around with 3, yes that's 3, pairs of reading glasses on. A total of 600 times magnification. Some pretty interesting stuff in there. Even what looks like some kind of clam-ish or mussel thing. About the size of a peppercorn and closes/opens. Guess it's eating well.
I spotted one more aiptasia that I'm going to zap tonight before bed. It's really small, maybe a 1/4 the size of the one pictured above. So probably only about 1/16". Very hard to see.

There's a member about 10 mins away from me who breeds Berghias. If this starts to get out of control, the rock will stay in the rubbermaid longer than planned to have some mowing done.

It is only advisable to remove/squirt aiptasia in the mornings, as in the evening they will release their spores if threatened and spread throughout your tank. I did as you did and used aiptasia-x at night because it was the only time I could do so. The next thing I knew the tank was infested. I picked up a few berghia from monocus and now they're all gone. He was the one that informed me that, and that is how he breeds/feeds his berghia factory. He disturbs the aiptasia at night so they will breed and be able to feed the berghia. :wink:

Ya, he told me the same thing. I've had my office light on for hours with the rubbermaid lid off, so I'm hoping they still think it's daytime.
