Absolutely hilarious...

I'm one of those people that absolutely hates getting jokes, chain letters, etc. from friends, and normally I don't pass this type of stuff along, but this is absolutely fantastic... you will not regret taking three minutes to watch this clip.

Aquattro 02-28-2004 03:22 AM

Sorry, that just isn't funny. Or you posted the wrong link...

Quinn 02-28-2004 03:33 AM

How is Spock singing a song about hobbits not funny?! I, for one, thought it was great.

Aquattro 02-28-2004 03:34 AM

Sorry, I guess we just have different thoughts on funny.

AJ_77 02-28-2004 04:04 AM

I'm kinda on the fence with this one, where "funny" = odd.

I think it's too bizarre to be funny...
WAIT a minute!
Quinn, what kind of party are you at tonight??

That may explain the perceived hilarity.

Coffeeman 02-28-2004 05:07 AM

I think its pretty funny, I just wonder what the hell spock was thinking when he did this.

Jason McK 02-28-2004 05:09 AM

It was the 60's and he had to keep his Star Treck hair cut in order to be renewed for another season

Quinn 02-28-2004 05:20 AM

Alan naw none of that! I think there's just a difference in senses of humour. I just thought it was entertaining, the contrast of seeing the sterm Mr. Spock singing about a hobbit. With girls in bright sweatshirts jumping around him.

Canadian Man 02-28-2004 05:54 AM

Sorry Quinn.

I thought the guy that goes and dances in the wedding was much more holarius

StirCrazy 02-28-2004 06:20 AM

Quin, we know people that can help you... see what all that education has done to your brain.. next thing you know you will think monty python is funny....

Steve ( <-- doesen't like monty python or other english humor)

MitchM 02-28-2004 11:14 AM

I'm with Jonathan,I like the dancing guy.Reminds me of my uncle's wedding party down in CapeBreton, everyone danced like him after a few "homemade"beverages

Quinn 02-28-2004 10:16 PM

I'm not familiar with that one.

Maybe all that stuff I did during high school skewed my sense of humour...

On another note, have you guys seen that Quizno's ad with the really ugly rodent creature on it? The original is http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song.

BCOrchidGuy 02-29-2004 04:06 AM

First one was different. second one was odd... I don't think you odder have done that other stuff in highschool.

Don't like Monty Python, or other English humour  You have just proven that you need help. Maybe some psychology guy could help you.

its to dry for me and I find it more stupid than funny. I think by the age of 14 you should be growin out of laffing at people turning around with a ladder and hitting other people 20 times in a row. (oh did I mention I don't like the 3 stooges also  ) or for that matter finding old men chasing women around (dressed in bra's and panties) halarious... maybe I am just missing something

Maybe you need to be really drunk to understand it, or smoke a really big bowl of something? Don't know. I throw my vote for not funny. To be fare though, I've only seen a couple MP movies.

Quinn 02-29-2004 09:30 PM

I really enjoy MP.

Coffeeman 04-23-2004 02:46 PM

jgoldsney 04-23-2004 04:03 PM

Very Funny

Ok mabie this is scarry but I found both links absolutly hillarious...

oh well I also found this joke to be crazy funny ;)

Joel

There were three Medieval kingdoms on the shores of a lake. There was an
island in the middle of the lake, which the kingdoms had been fighting over
for years. Finally, the three kings decided that they would send their
knights out to do battle, and the winner would take the island.

The night before the battle, the knights and their squires pitched camp and
readied themselves for the fight.

The first kingdom had 12 knights, and each knight had 5 squires, all of whom
were busily polishing armor, brushing horses, and cooking food. The second
kingdom had 20 knights, and each knight had 10 squires. Everyone at that
camp was also busy preparing for battle.

At the camp of the third kingdom, there was only one knight, with his
squire. This squire took a large pot and hung it from a looped rope in a
tall tree. He busied himself preparing the meal, while the knight polished
his own armor.

When the hour of the battle came, the three knights sent their squires out
to fight (this was too trivial a matter for the knights to join in). The
battle raged, and when the dust cleared, the only person left was the lone
squire from the third kingdom, having defeated the squires from the other
two kingdoms.

This just proved that the squire of the high pot and noose is equal to the
sum of the squires of the other two sides.
