Post Removed...no explaination.
 

Hi.

I recently had a post removed. It's not the first time but usually I can speculate the reason, this time I have no idea. It would be nice to know why your post is deleted, if only to make aware of a broken rule or etiquette and not repeat it. With out an explanation you are just left wondering why and repeating the same mistake over and over.

this is coming up alot lately it def would be nice if a pm to the poster followed either by mod or vendor who removed any comments....nothing worse then left wondering with no explanation:question:

Darryl, where was this post? Typically it's me that removes things, and I generally follow up, but I can't recall removing anything of yours...

I ran into this a long time ago. I think they are supposed to pm you as to why. Not positive though.

Yes, we strive to let you know if and what we've removed, and why. Sometimes it falls through the cracks, we're all at work or doing real life stuff, so once in a while we get distracted.

Work. Who cares about work. My distraction is in the form of many sheets of glass filled with a clear substance.

My bank won't take frags for mortgage payments, therefore I must work. Sorry :(

Lol. No work is fine, it just doesn't distract me as much as starting a new tank. Work is very important to fuel my distraction though.

The post was in the recent nudibranch group buy thread. It was a pretty simple question that has since been answered in the thread. I fully recall posting it but the only other thing I can think of is somehow it was posted.??

Which thread was it in Darryl? I see a post in the old thread of monocus I reserected to ask him a question but not in the other 2.

I had a post disappear the other day too, but I think it was more of a glitch not a physical removal

Maybe you forgot to hit the submit button. Sometimes I hit the preview button and while "previewing" my post I think that I've already submitted it and am reading the actual post when in fact I'm just reading the preview. Then I click another thread and carry on.. :redface:

I don' think the submit button got hit. I can't see any trace of it, and generally posts are soft deleted, meaning they're still there for the staff view.

In general though, it might be more appropriate to send a PM to one of us or the Canreef Staff ID. We can investigate and let you know if and what happened, rather than another "rukus" thread. It gets to be too much drama for the board. We'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
