Haha adorable! if I had a place for a pup I might leave with one next weekend, but I cant lol..

paddyob 01-08-2012 06:18 AM

I am looking for a dog. Huskys are my favorite..... but may not go well with my cat? I heard they can be a tad "pack leader" with cats.... and some cats do not fare well.... or live.

Purebread? Pics of the parents?

PM me Grizz.

The Grizz 01-08-2012 06:19 AM

 that would be hard to do any how since they won't be leaving for new homes for at least another 5 weeks, they have a vet check in 3 weeks as well for 1st shots.

reefwars 01-08-2012 06:19 AM

PM me Grizz.

Usually with puppies they get used to a cat right away since they grow up with it and usually will be fine with them. I also find adult cats more tolerant of puppies then adult dogs.

BlueTang<3 01-08-2012 01:00 PM

Just tell the cat not to run and it will be ok

riceboy 01-08-2012 03:27 PM

Oh man I want one lol why did I have to look lol

Seamazter 01-08-2012 03:35 PM

Awe

ALang 01-08-2012 03:37 PM

Me, too!!
Always wanted a husky! I didn't want to look, but what with the title, one HAS to LOOK!!

All of my dogs and various cats love one another. They were brought into the "pack" at different ages. No problems.
They really like to lay down with each other, the cats rub against my dogs all the time, they share beds at night, snuggle on our bed when we read, too.

I was skeptical about raising cats and dogs together at various stages in their lives as well. I never have had cats/kittens until we moved out to the country.
But I have had no problems. Good luck, Patrick.

MarkoD 01-08-2012 03:46 PM

Wish I had a big yard. I've always wanted a large breed

Very true Laurie, we have pups that have gone to farms with ducks, geese, chickens, goats, cats.......... And none of them have harmed another animals unless it's a preditor and doesn't belong there.

My wife said no... And guess who NEEDS to listen.

She feels we do not have time for such an energetic breed.

Boo. Now I'm sad. Lol.

Greg, someday I'll have a husky. Someday.

She wants a Golden now.

I guess seeing I dedicate to my tanks, she has some say in the dog. Lol.

The Grizz 01-08-2012 08:21 PM

There are defiantly a breed that needs lots of activity for sure. Most big breeds need lots of play time.

Coralgurl 01-08-2012 08:27 PM

Yea I know this about sled dogs. They need the exercise. I was just hoping my wife would cave to cute pics.

Funny story...

I saw a husky pup in a shop one time. It started to howl. It was so into the howl it rolled back over it's little round butt and fell right over... And kept the howl going while laying flat on it's side!!!

It was hilarious.

Boy #4 is amazingly cute! Almost makes me want to cave into the wife's request for a fourth dog! He'd go nicely with the akitas.

Delphinus 01-09-2012 05:14 AM

Good looking pups!! Hahaha, I like Huskies too. Really need to be run a lot though, I lived next door to one for a while and his family would walk him, we would walk him, my landlord who lived upstairs from me (my brother hahahaha) would walk him .. and it barely scratched the surface with the amount of running this dog needed. Was a super fun dog to hang around though.

ColinD 01-09-2012 09:54 PM

Beauty pups Greg!!

They dooooooo love to run, ours sometimes go off the acreage for a few hours, come home, drink a gallon of water & then crash in the living room for hours.
