Yes, you heard it. Thanks to BlueTang<3 (Wes), he asked if we were going to do the raffle again. Wes & Kayla were most than generous last year, and I wish to thank them for their contribution this year also.

After a little thought (about 2s), I told him yes.

So I am pleased to announce BWA's Second Annual Food Bank Raffle.

I will be canvasing some companies and customers for donations for this draw again.

Only a few things we will have to change, this year. As I was told by PayPal we cannot use them unless we jump through their hoops that they hold up (This was beacuse someone complained to them about it last year, and even gave them the link to the thread. We know who you are! :twised:)

So tickets this year can be paid for in the following methods;

• In Person
• Via CC#
• Mail (cheque)
• EMT (Electronic Money Transfer)

The total for the Food Bank was $825, with BWA matching amount, totaling $1650 for 2010.

We will also be setting up a donation bin at the store for the Edmonton Food BAnk this year also.

Tickets will be $5 each, and the number of draws will be according to the prizes I can mooch from my suppliers.

This a noble thing to do,helping hand

And yes shame a BIG SHAME on those who participated in such a mal-doing to those that are um-privilege

Beleive me I know that warm feeling that you get by giving a helping hand to those who need it. We hold a yearly draw at one of the clubs in Calgary through dinner and dance night to give as a donation to a different charity.

So can I hit you up for a donation Eli?

Thats in the past, we set up the raffle too quickly, and I blame Wes for all the problems that I had to deal with (no he wasn't the tattler, he was the main contributor of the raffle prize :biggrin:)

Hope we can at least match our contribution this year, the $1650 was wel appreciated.

I was too, the whole trip was rushed, barely saw Jeff (JL) & Wendle/Jim (OA) when I was out there.

I will be adding a few of our frags, and other items from the store

Im really excited that we decided to do this again this year,
and i really hope we can beat last years total ($825).

So frags are as follows and I am sure they will continue to grow
7 heads of blue/purple hornets depends on lighting
6 heads of Mowhawks
6 heads of Sunny Delights
6 heads of Captain americas.
3 heads of Cady apple reds
3 heads of Tyree space monsters.

When i bought these corals for a similar pack the total was over 1000 bucks. For the space monsters i paid over 150 a head. If some one wins the raffle and would perfer sps that could be arranged or want to trade for other zoas that could also be arranged.

FYI, if you are an out of town customer, we will provide all shipping costs, and for the Gift Card we will supply an $100 Card from the place of your choosing locally if needed.

We will draw for 3 prizes this yer from all the donations of prices we recieve.

According to the online map program I am 2073.5 km's away from Blue World with an estimated travel time of 21Hr & 29min's drive.

I am challenging anyone further away than me to beat that benchmark by buying tickets.
