Mushrooms Anybody?
 

I just wanted to show off these Super Red Mushrooms that I picked up recently. They are super bright that make my Ricordeas look dull and my Rics are not dull at all.


Check how super bright these Red Mushrooms are compared to the Ricordeas. I placed them in the middle of some of my most colorful Rics simply to show everyone how much they stand out.

i bought one of each Ricordias that he had and man WOW what amazing colors he has i love them.

....you recently got some more rock flower anenomes from j&l....how are they doing? Any new pictures... How is the smaller tank doing in terms of growth?

How are the Rics doing? Am glad you are happy with your frags:biggrin:

All RFA are doing very well including the ones I got from J$L. It took some time for the corals to bounce back after the transfer but the Solana is now doing very well. The growth is not bad at all but this tank will be shut down soon to be replaced by a slightly bigger cube. I can't wait to set up this new tank because I am running out of space and some corals are too close to each other.

Man these pics don't even come close. I saw them on the weekend and they're 10x brighter than that (seriously). Daniel, I don't think you should put those in your tank; they'll make you enjoy your dull ricordia less :razz:

Perhaps you are right Kevin; I should give them all away asap....:lol:. Please come over to pick them all up because my Rics feel they have been displaced by these insanely colorful mushrooms.

Great colors...What lights are you running? Do you feed?

I only feed (mysis shrimp) the Rock Flower Anemones, Duncans and Bubble Corals but not that often. I would say they get fed once every couple of weeks if they get lucky; aside from this there is no other type of food added to the tank.

The lighting is a 24" Aquactinics 5 Bulb fixture with 2 ATI Blue+, 2 Aquablue Special and 1 Purple Plus. The shots I posted were taken when all 5 bulbs were on.

What size is your new setup??
 

Just wondering, what is your new setup size going to be? I noticed you are now selling off your fairly new Solano 34 gallon setup... getting rid of any corals as well ( rics/ frags?).

The new set up is a pretty cool one. It's 24" x 24" x 18" and I can't wait to set it up. I'll have more space for all my corals and fish. Now, I think there are some Rics that I could sell ( there are about 200 Rics in my tank), Super Red Mushrooms and maybe some zoas, Duncans...etc.

Where did you get the super red mushrooms? Never seen any like that before!
