MarkoD 11-09-2011 11:59 PM

Steve needs to get a really hot young girl to work evenings. She doesn't even need to know anything

By young I mean 18-25

Nano 11-10-2011 12:05 AM

anyone? or has my thread been hijacked?

Aquarium_Medics 11-10-2011 12:07 AM

Personelly i think it's a disgrace for businesses to be open on Rememberance day. It's suppose to be a time to remember those that have fallen protecting or freedoms, not an excuse to make money.

RedCoralEdmonton 11-10-2011 12:10 AM

lol its not an excuss for anything..... we are open 7 days a week, only closed on new years and christmas....

Steve

Nano 11-10-2011 12:12 AM

well I guess I'll look elsewhere I'm not really getting a lot of help here. thanks anyway

Aquarium_Medics 11-10-2011 12:12 AM

Well I don't agree with sunday shopping nor being open for any stat holidays.

And you;'re advertising rememberance day specials, that to me is using the holiday to make money.

Is someone having a bad day??

MarkoD 11-10-2011 12:21 AM

Anyone not open on a long weekend is a shitty business person. Shop owners need to live and pay bills. They don't get paid stat holidays if they take the day off. Being closed to remember helps no one. Plus you can shop and remember at the same time

I would only be guessing here on price but you could spend any where from $75 - $125 for what you listed. The reason I say this is because it depends on the type of Goby & the size of the torch or number of head on it. You could get a general idea of what it might cost you if you look at the Red Coral Online Store for a guild line. I don't know if all the store's do it but I have heard of some of them giving a 10% CanReef discount because they are just great store owners.

The Grizz 11-10-2011 12:33 AM

I know I missed it but what size tank do you have? I really like the Clown Goby's for smaller tanks, there are a few different color's to choose from.

Nano 11-10-2011 12:38 AM

20 gallon standard with 23lb LR Aquaclear 110 modified into a hob sump/refugium, one ocellaris 1 peppermint shrimp 2 hermits(scarlets) and 1 emerald crab and a little brittle star that came on my LR

The Grizz 11-10-2011 12:41 AM

Another good option would be a nice Tail Spot Blenny or Red Scooter Blenny, both are usually around the $30 range I THINK, please don't quote me.

Send a PM to Steve @ Red Coral & Ken @ Blue World they are both great guys to talk to and deal with. Ask them what they have in stock for what your looking for, both of them will be happy to help. I would list some of the staff member names to but I don't know them all and they are all very helpful & great people too.

Nano 11-10-2011 12:43 AM

thanks for the help lol thats why I came here

The Grizz 11-10-2011 12:53 AM

Check out J&L's web site as well to look at different species of fish for reference as well as www.liveaquaria.com.

Thanks Steve, So I have a 20gallon I dont need a huge torch as all my other corals are quite small and would like them to all kind of grow in together, what are the odds of being able to get a small torch with just a few heads? And I'm thinking Either a yasha goby, Bi color blenny or a 2 spot goby, would you have these in stock on friday?

RedCoralEdmonton 11-10-2011 01:15 AM

I have a bunch of torch/ hammer/ frogspawn that fit your criteria... and as for the gobies, we have a bunch but none of the ones you have listed... i could have them next week though....

Steve

Nano 11-10-2011 01:17 AM

Oh no... something happened on the intrawebz!
Its gonna happen man. And people aren't always going to get back to the question in 5 minutes... its not as big a forum as 3reef or nano-reef type thing.

Aquarium Illusions is also opened I think. I expect that that 'newer' store in the east end is open to? I dont remember its name though.

RedCoralEdmonton 11-10-2011 03:47 PM

Where is this newer store in the east end?

Steve
