Livestock available at O.C. with PICS

Hi All,

It's been a few months since our last post and I've been very busy at the store. Since the departure of my star employee, Eugene; I've been inundated with things to do and updating our blog and being on Canreef has been neglected. I apologize.

I do have some amazing Fairy wrasses in at the moment as well as lps frags and colonies too. Notables are:

Fish:
Cirrhilabrus Punctatus Male
Cirrhilabrus Pylei Male
Cirrhilabrus Scottorum Male
Cirripectes Stigmaticus Male
Macropharynogodon Meleagris Male-Blue
Thalassoma Lutescens, Male LG
Naso Literatus Show XL Male-with 3" streamers
Pseudocheilinus Ocellatus Vanuatu-Juvenile Rare from that Region
Vanderbuilt Chromis-unique and peaceful
Chrysiptera Talboti
Chrysiptera Rollandi

Others:
Large Squamosa Clam 7-8"
Candy Apple Red Palys
Blue Hornets
Magicians
Red People Eaters
AOG
Sunny D's
Valentine Massacres

We also now carry Salinity Salt by Seachem (120g mix at 1.026). This salt is independently tested and have the lab results right on the package. You can also logon to Seachems website to track the batch test results as well.

And lastly, I will be making my trip to LA again next week to hand select some corals. Please contact me if you have any last minute requests and I will do my best to fulfill them for you.

Thanks and hope to see you all soon.

Paul

Marie up in Powell River has been looking for those Vanderbilt Chromis for years Paul. I called her and left a message.

Thanks Anthony. They've been in quarintine for a week now and have come out of our mandatory Furan 2 medication treatment.

Cheers,

Paul

I have yet to visit your store as it is a bit further than the rest of the lfs' around Vancouver but I think Ill drop by this weekend as my wife has been bugging me for a really nice zoa/paly for the tank and you seem to stock some really nice pieces...

Wrasses

I picked up a male Exquisite wrasse earlier today to join my growing Fairy wrasse collection from Oceanic and I just wanted to say thanks Paul. On second thought maybe I should curse you! Four months ago I was just an sps junkie with a couple of hundred bucks a month sps addiction and now I seem to have a full blown Fairy wrasse addiction also!
So far a pair of Rubrimaginatus, male Pyles, male Aurantidorsalis and now the Exquisite wrasse. Hopefully next will be a Lineatus or the Rhomboids, oh great
how will I sneek those home?
Ps. I'm glad I don't have another 8' tank or that Naso would have gone home with me!
Keith

Wow! I think we'll be stopping by this weekend time permitting!

Gooly001 10-29-2011 06:49 AM

Hey Keith,

Sorry but the Naso has gone to a larger tank in Kelowna, but no worries I've got your Gem Tang on order. Should be here soon.

Those fairy wrasses are amazing and can become very addictive to collect. Lineatus and Rhomboids are the next two on my list to bring in. I'll definitely call you when they arrive. Too bad the Earlei are so expensive. I'd love to have a pair for my display tank.

Dont' worry about the sps addiction, you'll regain the appreciation for them soon enough. I've got 150+ sps frags en route and dare I say Purple Monster might be one of them?

Keep in touch, they'll be arriving soon.

Thanks

Paul
