Anybody Still Have Those GSPs I Used to Have?
OMG, don't tell Chris I'm back on Canreef thinking about setting up a simple nano. I wouldn't go larger than 12-15 gal, and most likely would go less than 10 gal. No skimmer, low light, no sump, probably a HOB filter, LR, little or no sandbed, and eventually maybe a shrimp or two and some of those lovely GSPs I used to sell/give away to folks. Thoughts, suggestions?
TIA  |

Everyone is crawling out of the woodwork! It's great to see all of you folks still here. The reef and other stories you must have to tell :)
Well, um, I did it. After a few to the fact-finding trips to major chains and to Steve's store on the Fort Rd., I picked up a 10g starter kit with hood (with room for two household-sized cf bulbs), HOB filter and miscellaneous extras for $45 this afternoon. I think it was a pretty good deal for what I have in mind. Turns out that my card at Big Al's from way back just went over 1000 points today, so now I get $25 worth of stuff free, er, I mean to say $25 worth of free LR! The rest will come from Steve's as his rock is very nice. By the end of November, the rock should be cured and I can get on with adding some nice frags that folks might have for sale or to give away to a good home :) Please tell me what's been going on with you folks over the last few years! |
