I am located in Ontario but would love the opportunity to see and experience western Canada. Companies that are willing to give me this chance receive up to a 3000$ tax credit. More info Here: http://www.rev.gov.on.ca/en/credit/cetc/ Quote:

I think by you working for a CO-OP, You’re referring to a corporation. What I meant by Coop is "Co-operative Education Program". This means a program which alternates periods of academic study with periods of work experience in appropriate fields. |
I am a powerlineman, some utilities want their new hires to have electrical engineering or power systems technician diplomas pre hire and give them credit on their apprentiships. And I do not work for a corporation, it is a member owned co-op utility.

I'll warn ya, right now is a tough time for co-ops. Because of the economy many companies haven't been taking on students. I have gone back to university to do my PhD because the job market is slow (though I also own and run a company as well). |
