Doug, the rules don't state exactly what type of tank. Acrylic Tank, Glass Tank, Wooden Tank, Steel Tank, Plastic Tank, Rubber Tank ?? This is my 1500g In-Ground Tank :wink:

Is it hard to keep Koi in Canada? I used to have them when I lived in Ireland. For the maybe 1 week of the year the pond was frozen they survived just fine under the ice. I suspect here in Alberta my pond would have to be as deep as a diving pool to not freeze on the bottom haha. I guess people keep them outside in the summer and bring them indoors in the winter?

Nope. Mine stay outside all year long.
