My tank lacks the beauty of all the color, so I tweaked each photo as such:

Predators at peace:

https://blufiles.storage.live.com/y1...opy.JPG?psid=1

It takes a stone fish 1/10th of a second to swallow its prey, so a fraction of that to catch it on film, even harder with a point and shoot camera, its why its one of my favourites:

https://blufiles.storage.live.com/y1...3-1.jpg?psid=1

Even though its still fuzzy.. one day ill get a cut and clear shot of this guy in action.. till then, its my favourite.

One of me favorites shots.
This picture was used in the Sept/Oct 2010 edition of Coral Magazine in their "pro-biotic" article. (For me that is what makes it epic)

I kind of dig this Mystery Wrasse shot as well and it was used in their "online email" version of that same article.

This next one is of fish waiting in line for the "cleaner shrimp" station just behind that rock.

The clarity of these shots is amazing. I have to remind myself that these are shot through glass and that everyone is not out diving every day. Top Shelf!

The key is to have the camera perfectly parallel to the glass

spawn 09-08-2011 09:20 PM

But they're very epic, & I just figured out how to quote just the line.

I love those file fish! But alas, I be a keeper of the fuzzy sticks. Has that fish not obliterated your tank yet?

Probably would have by now but I no longer have the tank or the fish.

Lol I'll see what i can do when I get home. But if I post a high res I'm gonna have to watermark it in the center somewhere

Well that's pretty lame

If anyone wants mine full size, let me know. I won't watermark them.

And that's how your photos end up on the internet with someone else's name on them.

I learned that the hard way

I was THIS close to getting rich re-selling iMacs with that bangin wallpaper. Shucks!

Don't sweat it man I was only kidding about a wallpaper.

Companies and websites all over the world rip off images of google and use them for personal gain and profit.

I found a company in Germany using my vacation photos on their website to sell trips to las Vegas

lastlight 09-09-2011 09:01 PM

Yeah I'm well aware trust me. I had to disable hotlinking on my own site because a few images were being used elsewhere on the internet.

Funny story though...

I configured my site to replace any hot-linked photo with a rather... unquestionable photo. I'll leave it at that =) I forgot to add a client's domain to my allow list and received some pretty panicked emails the following day when every last image on their site was this new image haha.

I had to tell them we were hacked and I'd "get right on it"!

Anyways if you change your mind and don't mind me becoming absolutely RICH off your photo of two clownfish let me know!

MarkoD 09-09-2011 10:00 PM

I don't mind sending it in email. But I'm not posting it without watermark
