Pieces of Montipora sp. still available... not like anyone cares... I'm going to have to give this stuff away.

Quinn,

What's the lighting requirements of the Montipora sp.? I'm always looking something new that will do well under PC lights.

PLEASE tell me you still have somehting available. I'm interested in anything that will survive under PC, for now. And my lighting should be enough for what you listed.

Quinn 02-04-2004 09:15 PM

The most common choice of lighting for SPS seems to be halides, but I know Bob has kept Montipora sp. under PCs. I don't know much about lighting, if you guys post what wattage you've got I'm sure someone can pipe up and offer their opinion. Either way I have enough to go around. I'll PM you with photos.

tkhawaja 02-04-2004 09:41 PM

I've got a shallow tank with surfaces ranging from 4" to 15" from the lights. So if something needs more light I can put it higher. I'll take BOTH frags, thank you!

PM me with your phone number so we can make arrangements.
