Calgary Reef Meet!!!
 

Well......... we here in Cowtown have been humming and hawing about doing a reef meet here for months.......Edmonton has reef meets once a month and and judging from the one that I recently attended it is a really good time and a chance to get together with a few other Canreefers and chat fish for a few hours......we have a few people coming to town for the Easter long w/e from B.C and Edmonchuck so I figured that would be the perfect time to step up to the plate and hold Calgarys first reefmeet (in recent history anyway)


the meet will be on Friday April 22( Good Friday)I have a venue lined up that has agreed to let us crazies in the door........everyone who attends will be responsible for paying for their own tabs.......Im not gonna post the name of the restaurant here as I want to avoid the people that will just post that they are coming to pad their post count.....so if you are serious about attending PM me and I will give you the details.....I need people to RSVPpm me so I can give the restaurant a somewhat accurate head count so they can allot us the proper amount of space......hopefully we Cowtowners can can meet or exceed the bar that the E-towners have set for these meets:wink:.....hope to hear from you-all soon:biggrin:

We do have a great time here in Edmonton reef meets.
Great fun to meet each other and put a face to people we talk to on-line, and lots of tips, freebies, good-will all around.

Hope you Calgarians can get yours going and have as much fun as we do here!

hey sounds like a great idea but i gotta know when before i commit.

I'm interested but it really depends on the time. Location doesnt matter as if the time works I'll make it wherever it is.

Going to be in Edmonton! Keep us posted if your going to having another one! Would be really intrested in attending! Do you think you would plan the meeting for weekends?

Its a great way to connect with fellow reefers and put some faces to the folks you see online.

Let the challenge begin, what City supports their hobby the most with the biggest turnouts at the meetings.

On the contrary I'm bringing all my remaining t-shirts to the meetup. If you'll be my friend you'll get a free shirt. I can't make my intentions any clearer than that.
