looking for torch frogspawn and hammers!
 

anyone have any frags?

are you planning on a island visit some time? I could probably frag a couple heads off my green torch pretty easy to trade for something else.

I will bring you some baby green frogspawn crowns, there tiny about the size of a quarter. I gotta give ya sumpfin for that colony :mrgreen:
If I can, I will also try to frag a white hammer if it's do-able.

I've got a green hammer here I can frag if you'd like. I wasn't sure how many kinds you were collecting and don't want to haul it over if you don't want it :biggrin:

this colony has been around for 5 years, it was my first LPS that i bought as an 8 crown cluster from Big Al's in Rmd. After about 3 years i trimmed it back to four crowns and that's how it's been ever since. I know cause I just read about this in my reef journal, it's also the third time it's been fraged back.

That it is, Andrew. Its up to 9 heads now. Its a bit of a slow grower in my tank but its really fun watching it grow.

heh, just thought it'd be neat if it was from mine.

are you saying it hasnt split branches in 3 years? or you keep fraggin it back to that size? my frogspawn was growing exponentially.

Yeah I'm saying in the past three years I have fragged 15 individual crowns from this sucker :biggrin: I keep fragging it back because I need the space, as a 19 crown monster would have filled half my tank by now :rolleyes:
