how do I post pics of my new set up

dyereefer, is your pic hosted on a website? If so, you can link to it with the Img tag available when you post a new thread.
If you have it on oyur hard drive, you can upload it to the photo gallery, linked under our Main Menu. Let me know if oyu have specific questions.

Brad I put my pics up in the Photo Gallery but it wouldn't let me link to them as Img I had to do the URL Link. Did I do something wrong?

Doug, what I do for that is right click on the picture, go down to properties and copy the URL. Then paste that URL with the IMG tags in your post and the pic should appear. :biggrin:

You're almost there. After you have posted your pictures in the photo gallery, right click on the picture, go to properties and copy the link. Then come back here and you can go to whichever forum you'd like, click on new topic and hit the IMG button (you will see [img] ), paste the link to your picture then hit the IMG button again (you get [/img] ). Then your picture should appear.


Alternatively you can just post the link to the page in the photogallery which may be easier for you.

If it ain't my tank or my digital camera its my car if it ain't my car it's my computer or my lack of skills in using it .Seeing that I do not have the ability to post my pics you all will have to just take my word and beleive that it looks ok for a newly setup tank that has almost cycled.Can you all picture that ( hint: USE YOUR MINDS EYE)

Did you get them posted in the gallery? I can link to them if you did. Or is that where you're having the trouble?

I emailed my pics to a fellow canreefer who will post them for me. :redface:

Well Wendell from ocean aquatics lent me a helping hand and got my pics posted so no longer do you have to rely on your minds eye.Better pics of the actual tank to come in a while. :smile:
