Mike, did you ever get an estimate for shipping it anywhere? That's a great price, but shipping must be steep!!

Skimmerking 01-08-2004 04:07 AM

Brad no i didnt i think it would be crazy i bet . Hate to selll but i dont need it and its just sitting in the basement wall empty ,the wife wants to grow catus and oranges in there. If you lived in Victoria, I think I would be loading that into the van right about now. Oh well, I'm sure there are people closer to take you up on that deal.

Delphinus 01-08-2004 04:14 AM

Wish this could have come up for sale in about 4 months .... AFTER I've moved. :frown: I'd have taken it in a heartbeat too.

 Yes but then "US" tax payers would be paying for your shipping of a tank and that's wrong

Mike, they take damned near 40% in deductions off our military pays,so go for it if you can  (15 years at 40% )too bad I wasn't working with Search and Rescue again,I'd get that tank shipped(flown)for you(supply is good for some things  )

I sent my wife an e-mail asking if I could buy it. She has not replied yet! Not sure if thats a bad thing. Do you have a stand to go with it?

Marcus

Nemain 01-08-2004 08:30 PM

Skimmerking 01-09-2004 11:14 AM

there were some mods done to it ..

fishfogg 03-09-2004 01:06 PM

Hi Darren,
Glad to see you found us. Not sure if Mike is near a computer or not. I will let him know. Pretty sure the tank would have to be cut to be removed. Made from 5/8th glass.

Skimmerking 03-09-2004 04:31 PM

thanks doug

I think thats a great idea...the communicating with your wife via email. How do you get away with that?

Skimmerking 03-12-2004 01:33 AM

shipping weight??

If we knew the shipping weight we could calculate the cost to get it where we want. Just the tank I want, but I have a feeling the shipping may make it cost prohibitive.

Skimmerking 03-13-2004 11:42 PM

i think there Ref hawk its about 600 to ship it to the west,
its 350 to ship to i think CALifornia some thing like that \.

Mike
