That is what I thought it was but wasn't sure. It is the only SPS that I have been able to keep. Thanks bud.

Welcome. It is one of the more difficult SPS to keep. I find that most of the Montipora species are a great SPS starter. Have you tried them?

I find the most difficult part of keeping a. humilis (and a. gemifera) is providing enough flow to keep the thickness of the branches. I have a purple humilis that isn't in the best flow, and it's branches are tapering a bit...other than that, it's as easy as any other acro.

I have tried a few monti caps and do ok with them. i have a small frag of red cap and it seems to be growing. I would like to do some of the other caps and montipora type corals as well.

My A. Humilis feel into one of my frogspawns and one of the branches turnned white but still had polyps on it. It is recovering slowly and getting better weekly but still no noticable growth.

If you can keep the Montis and this Acro, then try more....maybe some WALT SMITH.

I would like to but after the clam epidemic that hit my tank the wife as put a stop to buying expensive coral especially if I am not 100% sure it will survive.
