youll need to save that file to your computer and then either attach it here or host it on an external photo hosting site like photobucket.
I dunno. It looks more like a white box with a red 'x' in the centre of it.

sorry, tried a different way, hope this works. hope you can help lol |
there you go!
I have no idea but I have it in my tank too, I dont think its bad but it sure is creepy looking |
ya i have about 4 that i can see, some are round with a "vent" hole/tube that looks like those on clams..
oh Ive never noticed that on mine. theyre all in awkward areas. Its likely a colonial tunicate then, a harmless filter feeder
do they move around?
look like a spounge |
nope, theyre sessile so theyll stay where they are. parts may eventually break off and float to a new location where a new colony may start. It could very well be a sponge but theyre really dense and slimy so I dunno. I should see it I can find it in my calfo inverts book.
It's the BLOB, run away!
Just kidding, but could it be a sponge. It is wierd looking. |

Maybe a sea squirt, but unfortunetly not one of the pretty ones lol. Or maybe some type of sponge.

Whatever it is, it's one Ugly Mo' Fo!

definitely slimy like a mushroom.. they dont move, just seem to be getting larger.
is it a sponge of some sort?
I used to have a bunch of thoes in the darker areas of my old tank. sponges are good filters and also a good indacator of tank health
