If you would have posted this yesterday.....I just placed an order with them yesterday for the cut off to be shipped today. Denny got me hooked on it....

This was my order.

Dual BRS GFO and Carbon Reactor 204171 $59.99
Maxi-Jet Powerhead 1200 (295GPH) 202264 $24.99

Order Subtotal$84.98
Tax$12.75
Shipping & Handling$24.37
Grand Total$122.10

BRS only ship to Canada every Friday, so you have to get your order in by Thursday at midnight.

That would be my exact order too Jeff. The shipping is more reasonable then I thought it would be.

The are cheaper than any other place I looked and researched.... I even went as far as looking at home depot in the R/O section....

I have one sitting on the shelf right now here at Marine Aquaria. 2854 Calgary Trail. Come on down and take a look if you are interested.

Amy, before you order from BRS, post here to share S/H with others like me:mrgreen: It is always good to share S/H. Lenny.

before you all buy from BRS - there is a guy in Guelph Ontario that regularly imports their stuff and ships it across Canada at a flat rate.
http://www.reefwater.net/

if you email him he can get stuff that isnt on his site from his BRS bulk imports in for you. His prices were pretty competitive the last time i checked.

thanhjenn 01-23-2011 02:23 AM

Reactors

Me too!

amy 01-23-2011 03:19 AM

Ok, it seems like we should do a group order for BRS. I've never done this before, how do we start?

amy 01-23-2011 03:24 AM

It seems like our orders should go in on a Thurs to be shipped out Fri. I am definitely purchasing, so we may as well share the shipping if others want to jump in.How does everyone feel about putting the order in by mid day Feb 3rd? Is that enough time? If so, I'll start a new thread.

ALang 01-23-2011 04:20 PM

OK, if everyone is in Edmonton, we can order as one and save huge in s/h. Sure they give you a discount and ship separately to each individual addresses, but then EACH of you will pay S/H of your own.

Group order makes sense if we are all scattered say, in Calgary, Edm, Ft. Mac,etc...But if we are all in Edm, wouldn't it makes sense to ship to one address and then we all meet, let's say, at the next Reefer's meeting, and divide up all the costs?? It would make sense if some of us only wanted a small order.

Just a thought.

Order

So who do we put our order in to?
When are we ordering for?

amy 01-23-2011 05:41 PM

I will organize this. Keep your eyes open for a dedicated thread...easier to keep it all in one place.
