LOL, what are you talking about? Yours is awesome, it has less algae and a nice white sandbed! Mine is just a mess with larger colonies to detract from the mess

WAAAAAY too clean. Looks like a new set up! No coraline on any pipes or anything!

Is there a trick to this? Hahaha!

chris121277 01-04-2011 06:29 PM

Thanx guys...I spent hours getting the scape just right. It's not a new setup just a new tank...lol, I just upgraded everything from my 60 to a 90 about a month ago.

Here is a side shot

I only count 3.5. The yellow is missing a bottom half. So that's good :)

Originally I was using 3 dymax robot led fixtures those things were pure junk besides the white colour they putout they only lasted 5 months or so before they started dimming out considerably. This after claiming 50 000hr life on the box.

I now use a rapid led par 30 bulb, 3 blues 2 whites which I believe is 20k. The bulb fits in a regular fixture. I'm using a 6$ walmart desk lamp.

The photo was taken during the afternoon and the tank gets a lot of sunlight too.
