Wanted: Live Rock in Victoria or Lower Mainland
 

Wanting to buy live rock in Victoria. I will be in Vancouver/Surrey/Abbotsford over Xmas if you have some you are willing to part with. Could be high quality, cured live rock or base rock.
Looking for up to 50 lbs or so.

Does anyone know if J & L always has in baserock or is it hit and miss??

They usually have boxes of the stuff but call them before you go in just in case.

I believe that is dead rock you are referring to? I think Tyler wants live rock.

Id split a split a box of baserock if anyone is interested...

If I was looking for rock, that's what I would get.

Any problems with matis or other nasties? I've heard that the Kanai has more nasties then Fiji or Tonga.

Personaly I have not noticed a difference.. I've never had a mantis just some crabs which don't seem to do any harm.

If you're truely worried about the nasties just do a hypersaline rinse on the rock, say, 1.035 swish it around for a few minutes any critters will leave the rock
