How many people can't see what I post? Please respond if this applies to you.
 

Ok weird question.. but I've now heard it twice from two different people that my posts show up as empty to them... How many others have this happening?

FWIW, I think the problem appears to be on the computer the posts are being read on.

That is one of the strangest posts I've seen on here. It shows up on my screen.

coming in load and clear here, the only thing that I notice is that your sig is really really small.

Yeah I disabled the avatar wondering if that was it, but I guess it wasn't.

I honestly thought the first time someone said it that they were messing with me. But now that I've heard about it two times I'm really starting to wonder what's up with that. Seems to be on the computer the person reading is using, but still, there must be something that triggers it if it's only MY posts that show up as empty ... I'd love to find out what vbulletin weirdness is going on with that..

Ooh, good catch .. interesting. Yeah, I have a bit of a "thing" against big signatures so I made mine tiny. I'll change that to normal maybe and ask the folks if that changes anything.

Yeah I thought that was a possibility but I confirmed that was not the case and also yeah, apparently on vbulletin you can't block an admin. (insert evil laughter here) Well technically, I guess you can, but we don't have that setting turned on here.

So I don't know, maybe it was only the two people, and it seems in both cases if they go onto Canreef on other 'pooters the issue goes away. I'd just like to know what the trigger is because who knows, it could come up again with other folks too maybe.

Who is this Delphinus? Never heard of him. 12,000 posts that nobody can see! I think he may be a bit weird; talking to himself for 9 years. :mrgreen:

after a few drinks i got to figuring out what the problem was and after a few more and a few more i now know what the problem is lol.......:)

They could answer because they can see the title and all your guy's replies, but just an empty post for any of mine. All the info they needed was in the title.

Sigh .. I knew this thread would turn into a gong show ... I was just curious how many others were out there that were only seeing empty posts. There is something weird going on with vbulletin, but if it's not my avatar and not the signature then I don't know.

I cant! But everyone elses posts are fun to read. When on the active threads titles page and i scroll my cursor over delphinius` title a small preview box appears showing me what it says in the post but upon clicking and opening the thread all I see is your clownfish avatar, no post. The new thread you opened about clams I cant even see the avatar, just the thin blue bar with the date. This all only happens on my laptop, I can see all this on my desktop. I can read everyone elses posts.
