Wanted - Various Frags - Edmonton

Hi to all,

i'm brand new to Canreef and new to the hobby. I am filling my tank slowly but surely and I'm looking for some frags that I could pick up in Edmonton.

Please let me know what you have.

Thanks, Tim

tgrover 11-21-2010 01:16 AM

JOEL 11-21-2010 01:17 AM

sps hard to keep
lps easy to keep

tgrover 11-21-2010 01:25 AM

perfect, thanks!!

LSP is great

JOEL 11-21-2010 01:40 AM

what kind of light do you have

tgrover 11-21-2010 03:43 AM

I have the Nova Pro Extreme fixture with 6 T5's

I've had a Seabae Aenome for a few weeks a Leather finger for about 4 months, blue mushrooms green polips...

Enough features, I'm looking for colourful coral that doesn't grow high and can take over a rock a variety would look good but I want to be very patient with them. An unnamed staff member at a local shop suggested I look here for people who frag and can help/

still looking, thx T

red coral has $10 zoanthid frag's , this is a good place to find someone selling cheap frags but sometimes it takes a little while , patience is a virtue in this hobby and if you wait around watching the forums you find lots of nice pieces for sale here and there and your tank will be full in no time:):)

Are you in Edmonton?

fencer 11-21-2010 05:11 PM

tgrover 11-21-2010 05:16 PM

SPS = Small Polyp Stony
LPS= Large polyp Stony

SPS are harder to keep but LPS also have requirements that I have seen many people struggle to maintain. They can be damaged easily.
