I've done my best to answer as many PMs as I could this evening but its getting late and have one more day of work in the morning. I'll be back on here tomorrow evening to try and get back to the rest of you. So good night for now!

Anyone in Vancouver/burnaby ordering? willing to hold my order for me?
I can make his J&L time but if he's late due to whatever reason I don't have much time to spare, as it is I'd have to bring it home, put them in a bucket with a pump and deal with them when I come home from work. |

54 messages in under 24 hours... holy crap. Alright folks I'm back to work answering PMs but I think I might be running out of available stuff soon.
|
LMAO Popular guy when you have nice frags :)
|
gust send a PM, as me and a few others are locking for the green and purple monty's, I dont know what you have left, however would love to have some, I have over 5 reefers that want one so, what you have , I will take
|
i dont know i pm'd yesterday and has not got back to me
|
All PMs have been replied to. My apologies to those of you I was not able to satisfy. The demand for large cheep frags in the lower mainland is unbelievable. Up here there is almost no one to get rid of this stuff too. Many of us either toss our trimmings into the trash or re-run them in calcium reactors. Pretty much everything that was available is now spoken for. I have a lot of bagging to do Tuesday morning before I leave...

Next time when you come to Calgary, please email me pl3839@hotmail.com
|
Don't hold your breath. I've only been to Calgary once in my life and that was 5 years ago.
|
Bump. The first post is up to date. Sorry but I can't ship yet. Local pickup only. I also have a green Turbinaria colony for sale that I 'rescued'. About 1/2 of it is dead but the living area is doing well again. Someone can have it for $15 or I'll cut it up into little pieces and sell it off that way.
|
Hey Russel, I hope when the weather gets better and you are able to ship that you have some frags available. I would like to get some of your Horn Coral, Monti Caps and zoas and maybe some others too.
|
Yes, please let me know if and when you will be shipping. Thanks:mrgreen:
|
Me too me too, I'd love a frag of that Acan
|
Bah! if the acan was available when i was going to PG i would have taken it in a second. I may not be going to PG until April or May maybe. :(
Bump for supernice corals. Ive seen his tank and frag tank personally. Very nice indeed. PS the blue zoas you gave me last time are growing a new polyp every couple of weeks :) The shrooms are also colouring up nicely as well. |
Bump. I'm taking a short vacation to visit family next week. So I'm once again offering to bring frags with me for anyone who would like to meet up along the way. I'll be going through Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, Clinton etc to Rosedale on May 4. Then on May 5 I'll be making some planned stops in Aldergrove, Burnaby and Delta as I head towards the ferry to take me over to Victoria. I'll be on a pretty tight schedule May 5 so I'm not willing to deviate unless someone knows of a gas station with exceptionally low gas prices... I might go out of my way for one of those.
Send me a PM and we'll set something up. |
If Anyone wants to send a wicked frag with him for me in Victoria I won't complain:mrgreen:
Call me when you get in town, maybe this time we can get you over here. |

like to buy some pieces from you
please call me on my cell: 604-908-6009
I am in Coquitlam in a furniture store, easy to find, with a 165 G tank needing all types of corals. Thanks, Romin |
Sorry but I've got a 3:00pm ferry to catch so I really don't have time to be making extra stops. However if you're after a variety of pieces I can easily ship by Greyhound once I return. It only costs $20-30. I did it a lot last summer with great success.

Alright!!! what all do you have ready to go?
|
PM sent your way
|
Great frags. Large and colorful. Well packed for the trip. Put them in last night and Duncan was opened up this morning.
Thanks Russell |
Great frags Russel!!
Nice big pieces, great color and superb packaging.....thank you very much for the best coral shipment I've ever gotten  Chris |
Thank you both of you for the feedback! I'm always glad to hear that everything arrived okay.
|
jesus russell your a busy man these days lol glad to see things are still doing good for you:) cheers buddy:)
|
Apart from a few minor setbacks everything just keeps growing. I either trim them and offer frags, kill them and make calcium reactor media, or let nature take its course. The first option sounds the most logical to me.

minor set backs are what keeps it interesting right, thats awesome man i totally loved the frags i got off you last year if it wasnt so far id order more in a heartbeat but thats the sad thing about living on the east coast all the good stuff is on the west coast lol its good to see your tank is looking great and that your doing good. for those who are thinking about getting frags from russell you wont be disappointed i can guarantee you that and if thats not enough to make you do it just look at the positive feedback:) cheers buddy:) |
I just received a shipment of frags from whatcaneyedo here.
I was disappointed after I had paid for frags, I received mini-colonies. Yes, it's a terrible thing that eyedo is doing here, all this false advertising. I should be pulling out the microscope to examine my 1/2" SPS frags and to be able to count polyps on one hand for my zoanthid frags. It was the best shipment of coral I've ever received. The corals were in fantastic health, many of them were well-encrusted, enormous, and opened up within an hour of being in my tank. The box he sent could have probably fit a few children inside of it. Everything was packed well and I have no complaints. There were a couple brittle stars in one of the bags, but not your average brittle stars. These things were like the godzilla of lizards...enormous things. What steroids are you feeding them? You won't be disappointed. The colours were vibrant, the corals were healthy and he was very diligent about answering emails and giving me shipping updates. All in all an excellent experience. I would definitely order from him again, but I fear I have everything that he has in his tank already! |
Thanks for the positive sarcasm. At first glance you had me a little worried there.
I just did some major downsizing with a few colonies last weekend and I've still got two full colonies that I'd like to get rid of completely. The big pink/purple Pocillopora chuck, the toadstool and the pink leather are $20 each. The abnormally large frags of Acropora are $5. I've also got smaller frags of all of these plus a modest assortment of other stuff (listed in the first post of this thread) for $5 each. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...o/IMG_8472.jpg http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...o/IMG_8471.jpg |
Just pm'd you.
