It's time to get this going, I can't put it off any longer. I need to start shutting down my tank. I'm not calling this a "getting out of hobby sale" but...

The corals need to go first. This Saturday (Nov 20th) from 10:30 to 4:00 I'm doing an open house and coral sale from 10:30 to 4:00. There will also be a "garage sale" table set up with all the stuff I've collected over the years. Bring salt buckets, since most corals are too large to bag.

I will take pre-orders, but if they're still here at noon Saturday they go back on the open market.

I'm also wanting to set up a good home for my Regal Tang. It will be free to someone with the right setup. This is a very large fish that needs at least 300 gallons with open space for swimming, preferably in an ick free environment. Alternatively, if someone has a contact at the Vancouver Aquarium and can arraigned a home there that would be great!

Rob, sorry for highjacking your post. I meant this as a joke to ScubaSteve's post.

I got a lot of BEAUTIFUL pieces (thanks again Rob), some of them are too big, so yes I may sell a few frags, but Rob still has a ton of beautiful pieces left, and he has frags of a lot of the pieces that he's already sold (accidental fraging while pulling colonies out). His prices are fantastic and you've got to get over there while anything is available. PLEASE DEAL WITH HIM FIRST. After that, feel free to send me a PM.

BTW you're not allowed to frag that Ponape. That little coral is way to sexy to cut up.

Lots! Plus I will have some hardware for sale, as well as pre-selling the hardware that is currently in use. If enough of the corals are out of the way I may even be selling fish.

You should see the Ponape glow in my tank! Actually EVERYTHING looks amazing! I might have to post a few pics for you...

Yeah, I'm sure you'll be missing your tank. You've had those fish for so long. It's a shame, but when you come back to the hobby, give me a call, I'll stock you up. You know that Bird of Paridise will have to be sold back to you.

when I called you and you mentioned you where 5 minutes late, I thought by by ferry,

however I gust made it, when I both the ticket thy already called for the last time to board, and I still had to run the entire way, including elevator with the 2 boxes.

I have lots of other frags for the FS

Talk about having to run! It took me way longer to get the corals off than I thought it would. Imagine trying to remove a coral with a 2" stock, I eventually cut it off with a dollar store hack saw. The 12 X 24 bags I got sucked... I was wondering how I got talked into shipping such massive corals, it wasn't a pretty site! I didn't think I was even going to make it to the ferry.

Oh well I've finally got everything cleaned up, and it doesn't look like a tsunami went through my aquarium... OK maybe it still does.

In the next day or 2 I'll be starting a new thread with the corals and frags I have left. For now I want to catch my breath, and let my hands heal :sad:

geez... where were you @ 2:30pm on Saturday when I left Rob's place. while post #1 has stated, everything is back to open market by 12pm.

Cameron, please read my first post. I was clear that anything left after noon would go back on the open market. I extended this because of the snow, but since you weren't here by 2:30 and the sale was only going until 4:00 I assumed you were a no-show.

Anytime I've had a frag sale in the past there has always been a percentage of people who didn't show up, and I wasn't going to be left with a bunch of corals because of this. Amazingly I only had 1 no-show for this event!

Please accept that the deal is done, Peter and I have nothing underhanded in this transaction. IMO the case of great clam caper is closed.

aww man! i took a little break from buying corals and this is what i miss out on. what a bummer. Anything left?

Ha..I knew you would need a hacksaw! Frags are all "installed". So far, I haven't lost any. I remain intersted in your 6-line wrasse...
