Hawks 180G build
My 180 has been running for about a year now. I was planning on a 400G tank but due to life issues I have decided to put the project on hold for now. I didn't like where the 180 was so I moved it. In time I will not like where it is now and will probably move it again...now I am thinking a inwall tank...but first things first. I moved the 180 from here:

Since I had the camera out I figured a few more shots wouldn't hurt

Pair of MP60s on the back wall. Flow solved!
Looking forward to more. Does she know about the tank? |

The move went pretty good. Thanks again to Mike(therealshark) and Ryan(RyanGSP) for the help. Was up till about 2ish getting the tank filled and everything running again. Lost a couple of chromis :( but other than that...everything went smooth.
I could only mix about 50G of salt at a time. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...j/IMG_2314.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...j/IMG_2317.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...j/IMG_2313.jpg And for the ladies :) http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...j/IMG_2316.jpg |
Ryan got a little camera happy...can't let them go to waste. :D

I added about eight colonies of SPS...raised the stand and went with bare bottom. So far I am liking the BB look...thought I wouldn't but its really growing on me.

I have also been dabbling with zeovit. I don't use a reactor...so far I am dosing:
Coral Snow - 6ml 2/3times a week Start2 - .6ml twice a day Food7 - 6 drops 2 times/week Bak - 6 drops 2 times/week I have noticed a huge change with my SPS. I have had a few pieces that turned brown but are now starting to show some color. |
Got a new waterproof camera today...had to try it out.

They arent majanos they have a Skeleton like an LPS. I took a look at them in person and couldnt figure it out.
|
what do they do when you mess around with them? Deflate? retract?
|
THey seem to defalte. When scott moved them so I could snap the pictures it was quick but they never sucked into the skeleton.
|
possibly "spawned" off frogspawn/torch or a bubble coral???? do you have anything fitting that description in the tank?
|
I got it as a frag from RC Lethbridge.
|
Came downstairs and found this lil bugger cruisin the tank floor.
I bought two awhile ago and haven't seen them since until this morning. http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/P1160005.jpg http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/P1160004.jpg http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/P1160003.jpg |
