Spotted - Great Deal on Red Sea Max 250 at King Ed's
 

Picking up a RSM 250 complete all-in-one unit with stand for $999 from King Ed's for a friend.

Just thought I'd post this great deal on the RSM 250 just in case someone else here is looking for one.

This is the full unit and the stand made specifically for this tank setup.

Canreef should sponsor them as i bet theyd draw more business from advertising at their shop than vice versa.

Well, their sale price on the RSM 250 is half priced compared to Aq. West in downtown.

Hello i just bought one from King eds i am in Kelowna if anyone is coming out this way and can drop it off i can pitch in some money for the trip just thought i would throw that out there thanks.:question:

I bought mine from them about 2 months ago, I couldn't believe it either. Just remember to email your receipt to red sea since king eds doesn't keep track for you.

I grew up in burnaby and used to sell my baby hamsters to them as a 10 year old in 1984ish, they used to be 2 blocks away on Edmonds.

Popped in there today with Franklin & they still have several RSM 250s in black for $999 and they even have white systems for $1099. I've never even heard of a white coloured RSM so that was kinda neat to see.

BTW, the RSM 250 I set up for some friends is looking great. Very sharp looking setup, although a little small for my taste (I've always been of the "go big or go home" school of thought).

For an all-in-one though, this one is by far the nicest & most user-friendly size I've seen so far.

Talking to my friends, they're happy with the skimmer, lots of light, and plenty of flow. So, two thumbs up on this purchase.

Does this set up come in two seprate boxes when shipped?

Yes. The tank is one box, then the stand is flat packed in another.. Both big and pretty heavy.

I'll mention it to Ron & Kathie (the owners) next time I pop in there. It is a mixed blessing to live 4 minutes away from a big LFS. Great in terms of convenience, but hard on the bank account:cry:

I really enjoy dealing with both Robert & John (Dead_by_Dawn on Canreef) there.

Picked one up for a member about a month ago, 2 sealed boxes.

They have some crazy tank deals in there. I was eyeballing a 200 gallon with stand, dual overflows, and cover $1100 plus tax, then my debit card smacked me upside the head, told me to dream on.

While we would love to have these guys as sponsors on Canreef, currently they are not. That means posting specials and flyers is providing free advertising, and conflicts with the goals of paying sponsors. This thread is closed.
