So you want all the fish, the corals, the rock? Sand too?

Blue-Wolf 11-06-2010 01:54 AM

Bump

Blue-Wolf 11-07-2010 01:36 AM

Okay, so time to start the parting out I guess. LIVESTOCK FIRST before ANYTHING else can go.

I am wanting to sell the sand, rock, fish, corals, inverts as one package to someone who will be able to take them all.

All the 'LIVE' components of the tank I will let go for a total of 1200 dollars. The rock was 1700 dollars alone, so for all of this together as one package I think that is a heck of a deal.

Any takers?

If you all want to figure out what you want, and work on it amongst yourselves, I really don't mind, as long as I get the asking price for the 'live' component of the tank setup. After that, I can drain, clean, catalog and sell the remaining parts with no issues of worrying about the livestock.

Blue-Wolf 11-07-2010 08:34 PM

Will take a reasonable offer for the whole system. We need this tank gone.

Bump. And please, to those of you PM'ing me, don't lowball me. I'm already giving the dang thing away at this price, and am not going to sell you my entire stock of fish and rock and sand for 100 bux.

Blue-Wolf 11-11-2010 03:34 AM

Bump, PM's Answered.

I hate being low balled as much as the next person but IMO $1200.00 is tiny bit high for what's being provided. The rock is certainly a fixer upper, of course $100.00 is WAY to low but if you are looking for a fast sale you might have to drop the standards a bit.

This hobby can be frustrating at times, resale value's for equipment and livestock are much lower than face value. Good luck with the sale, if you are coming to Calgary any time soon and are willing to part with the light consider it sold.

I hear ya. :) Trust me, there is room for negotiation, just not 1100 dollars worth of it. :)

I plan on getting back in to the hobby once I get in to my own place early this coming year, and build the tank I want. But for now, I have to sacrifice as most have often done.

Not coming to Calgary anytime soon, but shoot me a PM with what you think it's worth and we can probably work something out. I'm sure others will be heading that way, or I can ship it down. Either way, talk to you soon.

Money talks. Lots of people sending me PM's, but little response back after answering.

Live Stock

Say your thread interested in some of your livestock, what have you got left? Thanks

Blue-Wolf 11-16-2010 10:36 PM

Am giving everyone who has pm'd me, and those I've replied to, a chance to respond back, and will update the list with items and what is spoken for.

Blue-Wolf 11-16-2010 10:46 PM

Just to add, I am looking for a complete Biocube style setup, that means equipment in tact, with skimmer, good lighting, stand, and possibly a sump. Would be willing to take some of that in trade for some of what I have in my 150g. May be getting MOSTLY out of the hobby, but would still like to keep a small tank to remind me of how beautiful this hobby is.

Would be looking for a 34g tank mainly. Maybe another Red Sea Max??

reefwars 11-17-2010 12:19 AM

I am still interested if that other person backed out pm me with some prices when you get a chance thanks Jason:)
