I would totally grab one now! I just need to do more research on them. Lighting, food, etc.

Actually I'll do some now... Do these guys move around lots? What kind of lighting do they need to be under? Flow? (high, med, low). What do they need to be fed? How often do they need to be fed? How agressive are they with other corals?

ScubaSteve 11-01-2010 06:17 PM

Hey, I'm interested in one or two. I'm on my iPhone for the next bit and it's giving me greif about sending PMs. Shoot me a PM and we'll talk.

i did some reserch on them and they are suposed to like low to med flow and med to high light , lots of people seem to have sucess with them and no they wont host clowns their sting is too strong .Not suposed to be fish eaters but they can sting any fish that like to perch. As far as feeding goes the more you feed the more they split .all in all seem to be rad little guys !

Wish you were closer. Cool little anemones. A while back they were hard to find.... now it seems every store is bringing them here and there.

Just wondering... are they a newer discovery or is there another reason for their scarcity?

LeeR 01-09-2011 09:56 PM

they have been around for a while in the USA. not sure why they are suddenly in canada in such large numbers.. it sort spoiled my plan to culter them.
