Fish or shrimp that could be picking at them?
|
what kind of test kits are you using? are they still good (ie. not expired) - I have read a few stories where tests looked good but upon further inspection the test was useless.
See if you can borrow a kit from a friend to test your parameters. Is there any other issues in your tank (algae, other coral acting up?) cheers; vince |
What's mg at? Sorry to read more bad news man. Is there a skimmer on the tank right now?
|
Have you changed the lighting? maybe your water is too clean. I've noticed my acans do better in my tanks that aren't skimmed as much, which I guess means there are more nutrients in the water. Are you still getting feeding responses?

Acans need to be fed. They require low light as well.
Try giving them frozen cyclopeeze and see what happen. If they lose color put them in a lower ligth area. Mine nearly all bleached under my 250 watt MH and I had to put them in the shade. Now with food and low ligth they are coming back nicely. Quote:
