POTM new pic.
 

Ok so while I love looking at my beautiful zoas that won POTM back in June I am feeling bad for Russell (whatcaneyedo) as his monti pic. never did make it up on the board. I think we should change the pic. to his, and start a new contest for Sept. so we'll have a new pic. to look at in Oct. Below is a reminder of his pic. that won in July and should of been up in August.

Have to admit I'm kinda surprised no one has said anything (especially Russell) until now.

lol My picture really doesn't do them justice... I think I won because of the way the coral looks and not because of the quality of the picture. The exposure on my camera was set a little too low or something so it looks darker than it actually is in there. I don't think it deserved to win so I haven't said anything. However I would like to see a new POTM contest started. I know TOTM was put on hold for the summer but was POTM too?

I totally agree....I think it should go up also as I missed seeing it after it was voted in. I think the pic is fantastic ... so let's get it up there for the month!

I. Everyone should see your picture on the home page for winning. Those plates look amazing.

Your not giving your pic enough credit Russel, I think it is AWESOME!! Love the way the color of the caps are the first thing you see with a bit of a shadow affect of the other corals around.

I don't think it was put on hold, my guess is Ryan's just lazy! :razz: Plus I think you're pic. is nice and you did win so it should get the viewing it deserves. Also if I'm starting to get sick of looking at my pic. I'm sure others are too.

Well to be honest this past month has been crazy busy for me and I plain forgot to update the photo. Sorry Russell!

I'll come up with a new POTM theme as well and post it asap.
Laurie... (and others) feel free to pm me your ideas for themes too. :mrgreen:

I. Love those plates. In case you want to frag some off, don't forget me! Lenny.

I have to frag them frequently otherwise I end up with large dead sections. They either grow into my horn coral, into each other or up to the glass. This is actually the second time I've grown them to the size they are now. I had to sell off my last colonies (which barely fit into a salt bucket) so that I could start over again.

Here is a picture of my last colonies just before I sold them and started over from frags that I kept.
