Do you know what a good pump for this is worth?

Not sure was running with a maxijet1200 but as the pump got older it didn't work as good so I passed it on to another reefer by rights it needs a new pump and I'm sure there's better ones I've never looked for one.

Anybody else know what's a good pump or how much they are roughly??

Hum i just googled the pump and its not expensive so thats all good... The next issue is that i'm in Vancouver right now :( If it doesnt go before next Sunday I will come have a look.

Overflow box... will this be what I need if I have a regular non-drilled tank? I have been wanting to hook up to a sump. Tank was a freshwater convert...only to try out marine...then now...Shoot, I should have drilled first!!!
If it is what I need, can you help me understand how to set it up?:redface:

It is what you would need it's fairly simple I can even help you set it up besides the overflow box you would need a return pump with gate valve or ball valve your sump some PVC 1/2" and 3/4" some various fittings and optionally a aqualufter if you plan on going away for a lenght of time:)

well you can have the overflow box ($30) and the pump($30) as i dont need them anymore, youd have to pick up a gate valve i got one at marine aquaria youd prob want 3/4", youd have to get 2 full lenght of pvc 3/4" piping and some various fitting like 45's and 90's to get your return up and over your tank, i had mine run down in to my tank into a " t " but you can do whatever

how big is your tank and do you have a sump bought?? let me know if you want the overflowbox and pump and if you like and get all the stuff i can help you hook it up:):)

Sorry to take so long to answer. Asked hubby about it (needed his help with PVCs, etc), and he confided that he was thinking of a new DRILLED tank in the near future:mrgreen::mrgreen:. shes a beauty thats for sure and you dont see alot of big nems like that around i wish i could keep it but its too big to store in my small tank untill christmas,so i had to sell:) talk to ken at blueworld and ask if he can order you in one youd be surprised what he can get you if you give him time:):)

hows my puff doing i miss that lil guy:)

Puff is kinda segregated in the 55g, I have to move him to my 110 at work. The guy I really feel sorry for is the skunk is now homeless, he had it all and now look at him. Puff doesn't seem to like any fake food ie. flakes or pellets, only the good stuff. When he's had enough, he spits it all over the place. He doesn't eat any veggies, does he?

He likes meaty foods like mysis,brine, I also would give him fresh clams and crab meat. The problem is ges not the fastes swimmer so it's hard to catch oeljets abd especially flake , he likes to size his meal up and flake or pellets move around too much, he's def lazy:) he won't touch anything green :)

How come some fish eat better than me? Something's wrong with that picture, fresh clams? I think he's a friendly guy but the other fish are probably scared spitless, he eats in the morning only if I hand feed him, bit pretty well doesn't swim much during the day. So Ken may have a big anenome coming and at a decent price?

Yeah I k ow eh lol I go to superstore for clams I paid like $5 for a dozen I shuck them and freeZe them for later:) during peak hours of the day he doesn't like bright light so he stays low or hidden usually comes out when he sees someone:) supestore cheap not the best quality but affordable:)

don't think he usually orders huge ones but I can guarantee if your serious he can find you one and get it brought in:)it's def worth the trip over to talk to him:)

No worries dear it's all yours and quite the catch it's around 24" during md day:) I figured out my dilema for my tang he's gonna go in my 50g sump cause it's just a tank with no baffles:) him and some coral and my cleaner shrimp:) just for a month or two untill my new set up stabilizes:)

Yeah, she's a beauy allright, good thing though or else I would've spent almost $300 bucks at Denny's.
