New carpenter's flasher wrasse
 
Yesterday I got a male carpenter's flasher wrasse from aquariums west for $20, anyway as normal the wrasse isn't to there greet me this morning, which is normal . The question I have is how do u think it might tAke for him to show up??

Wrasse's can be very good hiders, sometimes taking a few days to a few weeks before they show up again.

Flashers can be very timid and you may not see him at all for possibly 2 weeks. Once they become accustomed to your tank tho they will be out all the time.

Yah a female and scotts wrasse both cheaper than J&l's the cheapest scotts wrasse is $75 at j&l but aquariums west is $40

+1 on having a good top. I made a top for my tank but flasher's have this amazing ability to either find the tiniest crack to fly through or the somehow teleport right through the top. Three rounds of wrasse jerky later I've given up, got rid of the top and stick to non-jumpers only... but man do I miss my McCosker's.
